Story

Today m posting a story that I read many years back.

One day a farmer and his son go to the market with their donkey which they intended to sell. They both walk side by side of the donkey. On their way to market, they hear somebody telling,'Look what a fool they are. They have a donkey but still they are walking. Ha ha ha." So the father puts his son for a ride.
A little further they hear people saying,'Look at that boy enjoying the ride while his old father is walking.' So to please them he puts his boy down and rides the donkey. After a little walk again they hear people saying,'Look at that man. He is riding the donkey and his poor little son is walking.' So again to please then both of them ride the donkey. When they were only a little further from the market they hear,' Look at that merciless man and his son riding a poor donkey. They should be carrying the donkey instead.' So again to please them the farmer brings a long bamboo and ties the legs of donkey and carries it to the market.
On the way to the market while crossing a small bridge people start laughing at the view of the father and son carrying a donkey. The donkey gets afraid by the noise and strangles and falls into the river and dies.

So the moral of the story is-" If you try to please everybody around you, your life is f#@ked up"
